Who we are

I am a college graduate, mom of two young adults, and partner to my husband on the pickleball court. After a 30 year career in many aspects of marketing, I’m able (I’ve always been ready) to put my energy toward serving others.

My desire to support older adults comes from a personal experience. We were the classic sandwich generation - trying to care for young children, work and maintain a house, all while living long distance from a parent who needed our help as she declined over several years. Thankfully, we were referred to a geriatric consultant who assisted us in taking care of all mom’s needs when we couldn’t. She was a huge blessing to all of us. And now it’s time for me to pay that forward.

I learned a lot during those years, as well as from the time we spent supporting my grandmother and father-in-law. I learned to meet people where they are, how greatly our elders need and appreciate respect and dignity, and that our time together was better spent enjoying each other’s company rather than worrying about “taking care of business” (which we left to the consultant).

My goals are to:

  • Form positive relationships with my clients and their families,

  • Cue clients to do as much as they are capable of,

  • Brighten my client’s day with patience, compassion and a sense of humor, and

  • Reassure families with good communication and reliability.
