About Me

My desire to support homeowners and gardeners comes from personal experience. I have always loved the outdoors and natural science. And having the good fortune of working at an ecosystem preserve and native gardens for 10 years, I had the opportunity to delve into learning how native plants are a critical link in the ecosystem “web,” and how important a healthy ecosystem is to our physical and mental wellbeing. Being in the preserve, helping with planting in the native garden, and growing in the greenhouse for the annual native plant sale sank into my soul.

In 2020, I found myself revamping my own garden one area at a time as a way to keep my sanity during the pandemic. I dove into researching plants, both native and cultivated, and have since spent much time arranging and rearranging (my family may say obsessing 😉) in our garden. It’s been intriguing to learn how a garden is in constant motion, and a delight to see plants happily take root and take off. I’m now a gardener for life.

My goals are to:

  • Provide what you desire from your garden in terms of function, appearance and maintenance,

  • If you request design/modification service, involve you as much as you like in creating a garden unique to you,

  • If you are a beginner gardener, give you the information and confidence to embrace gardening,

  • Assure you with good communication and reliability, and

  • Stay within your budget or provide regular budget updates.

I look forward to making your little slice of the planet healthy and beautiful!
